If you changed the Wi-Fi password before and now forget it, you can reset the camera by flashing the firmware of camera, and the password will be default 1234567890 after resetting.
Please follow the steps below:
- Download the camera's latest firmware file: https://runcam.com/download/scopecam2
You will get a compressed file scopecam2-V1.0.6 after downloading, and please extract it to get the FWSC02.bin firmware file.
- Copy FWSC02.bin to a microSD card directly. No placing it into any folders or changing its file name.
- Insert the card to ScopeCam 2, power on the camera (ensure that the camera has enough power for flashing)
- Camera will detect automatically for flashing, and the blue light will blink when flashing
- It takes about 2 minutes for the camera to finish flashing, and camera will restart automatically.
After flashing the firmware, the device name and Wi-Fi password will be reset.
Please use default password: 1234567890 to try connecting ScopeCam 2 to your phone and continue a connection on RunCam App.
